Last June, the first stone of the new Hôtel des Horlogers was laid in Le Brassus, home of the Audemars Piguet manufacture in the heart of the Vallée de Joux. The ceremony was held in the presence of Jasmine Audemars and Olivier Audemars, chairwoman and vice-chairman of the Audemars Piguet Board of Directors, and François-Henry Bennahmias, CEO. During the ceremony, Jasmine Audemars presented this unique project that combines respect for the hotel’s origins and openness to the world, transmission of the Vallée’s traditions and freedom of imagination. “Though far from simple, this project is important, not only for Audemars Piguet but for the entire Vallée de Joux. The hotel is a way to attract a broader public to this stunningly beautiful corner of the world. It is essential for us to be able to cater to the needs of the international travellers and to those of our neighbours”.
The new Hôtel des Horlogers merges history with modernity. It was imagined as an integral part of the Vallée’s environment, embodying local culture and habits. Its design creates a friendly, welcoming atmosphere with warm and authentic materials. The hotel will offer 50 rooms with four-star comfort and views over the Risoud forest, two restaurants and a lounge bar, a wellness area, a fitness facility as well as three seminar rooms.
