Geneva, Mai 2- 2016 – For its fourth edition, TimeCrafters once again gathers watch enthusiasts at the Park Avenue Armory in New York. Attended by some of the most prestigious names in fine watchmaking, the show has established itself as a must-see for all those who appreciate timepieces of distinction.
Fine Watchmaking tells a fascinating and unique story. It is a world of endless discovery in which expertise and technology combine with the decorative arts, and the brands that travel to New York will bring ample proof of this. They are the ambassadors in America for what is a singular approach to the measurement of time.
The Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie (FHH) will also be present at TimeCrafters. In keeping with its mission to educate and inform on the values and specificities of Fine Watchmaking, it will be hosting hands-on initiations to mechanical watchmaking. These workshops, which have been delighting watch enthusiasts for several years already, invite participants to take apart then reassemble a hand-wound mechanical movement. Experts from the FHH will also be giving talks throughout the three days, covering themes such as the history of the chronograph and how astronomy contributed to the development of horology.
The FHH is delighted to be taking part in this prestigious event, which makes its mark in the United States with each new edition.
